A copy of the ‘Wolfe Tone Annual (1947)’ (Dublin: Published for the Committee of Wolfe Tone Week, 1949). The periodical was published by Brian O’Higgins from 1932 to 1962. This edition is a special commemorative volume on the life of the Irish nationalist John Mitchel (1815-1875). The volume is extensively illustrated with drawings by Ailbhe Ó Monacháin (Alfred Monahan, 1889-1967).
