A flier noting the establishment of a representative body in London to assist the work of the Emergency Committee in Dublin. The document notes that ‘in many parts of Ireland, owing to the state of terrorism which exists, persons who endeavoured to assert their legal rights cannot procure, except from great distance, the commonest necessaries of life, and are obliged to perform for themselves and families the most menial offices’.
