Portée et contenu
A reprint of a speech made by Edward O’Dwyer, Bishop of Limerick, in 1916 thanking the city for bestowing the honour of freedom of the City of Limerick on him and calling for an end to British rule in Ireland; he indicates his support of the Easter Rising. The tone is strongly nationalist throughout.
