A clipping of an article reporting on meeting of Jewish refugees from German concentration camps with Pope Pius XII at which they thanked him ‘for his generosity on their behalf during their persecution in the terrible Nazi-fascist period’. The clipping is taken from the ‘Chicago New World’, a newspaper published by the Catholic Archdiocese of Chicago (7 December 1945).
