Your Grace my dear Archbishop
I was wonderful of you to have written
me before my departure from Dublin I
am deeply grateful to you.
God willing. I expect to be in Dublin to-
morrow and will be so happy to see you
shall I ring Father Mangan or shall I
await a note from your Grace.
The morning I left I signed the paper
which is to give us permission to take
possession of Edenmore and begin at least
the repairs on the Gate Lodge. Mr. Jones
san no reason why the work could not
begin on May 1st the Feast of St. Joseph the
Worker He will direct work and workers
for the Glory of God. I am sure.
I have had to ask Rev. Mother General to allow
me to borrow 38,000 originally it was 35,000.
Ther has already sent me her written authorization
which I shall give to Mr. Sheridan as the Bank
of Ireland Your Grace, perhaps you will yet
be asked to give your signature for the loan
I am not familiar with that necessity. There
are so many things I do not know.. But
feel that you will counsel me with your
rich experience and how much I shall ap-
precrate that. There are some questions
on my mind which I hope you will help me
to clear up regarding the coming of the Sisters
Two postulants received the Holy Habit to day and
two others pronounced their First Vows Two were
from Dublin. I said a special prayer for you be-
not have found their way to the Sisters of St. Joseph
How admirable is Gods loving Providence
