A bound volume containing copies of the daily edition of ‘Sinn Féin’ (24 August 1909, Vol. 1, No. 1, to 22 January 1910, Vol. 1, No. 127).

The volume is firmly bound but most of the editions of have been folded at the right-hand edge. Some of the editions towards the end of the volume have also suffered some tearing (and loss) in the right-hand portion. Some minor staining and dust accumulation to the volume. The soft covers are slight worn. Careful handling of the volume is required due to its large size and heavy weight.

When his newspaper ‘The United Irishman’ closed in 1906 due to a libel action, Arthur Griffith adopted the title ‘Sinn Féin’ for the replacement paper where he continued to promote his policies until its suppression in 1914.
