A drawing of San Sebastiano fuori le mura (Basilica of Saint Sebastian outside the walls) on the Via Appia in Rome. The illustration is dated and initialled by Peter Frederick Anson. An annotation in pencil reads ‘Built over the spot where the bodies of Saints Peter and Saint were hidden during 3rd century persecutions. Belongs to Friars Minor’.
