Rev. Mother General called me to Rome
think it is very Providential that you are
here. Before leaving for the Stated in
July 1962 the Doctors coming to the
Nursing Home asked me to add on some
private rooms because of requests for such
I hesitated to say Yes knowing the debt
However it is to speak to you about this
that I would like a little visit I do re
alize how occupied your time here in Rome
is but I would feel easier leaving for
Dublin next week if I talked it over with
you, your Grace.
This opportunity also affords me the pleasure
of inviting you to our General House which
you promised te visit away back in 1951.
We have four French Bishops staying here
and we should love to have you join them
for dinner some day also
Should you find it difficult to see me
may we ask you when the time to borrow comes
to give us the written permission to ask at
the Sacred Congregation, please You know
our Mother General will resume the respons-
bility should the Superior in Raheny fail
