A clipping of a letter from Hilda Verlin claiming that her visit to the Soviet Union was undertaken as part of her role as honorary secretary of the Irish-USSR friendship society. She also claims that the friendship society is not a communist organisation. The clipping is taken from ‘The Standard’ (10 November 1950).
