Scope and content

Your Grace my dear Archbishop
Your letter carrying good tidings that a
distinct advance had been effected in the
Edenmore transactions added to our joy
in this joyous Season Magnificat, How
true !? Our Blessed Lady has her own w ay
of working so mightily and sweetly and
with some modest suggestions from her
beloved Spouse St. Joseph. Do you not
think so your Grace
I had promised some of the young girls
that I would return to Ireland in January
and help them to prepare to enter in
February. Al though there is no imme-
diate need of me for the transactions Rev
Mother General was wondering if I should
not go just the same, I could do some
of the Sihorts in the interim. There are
three or four Bishops who alirays geve me
the permission and I am counting on
the continuation of the privilege from you
your Grace to visit the Schools of our
Archdiocese, Please let me know what
you think of my going after the middle
of this month sometime
Tomorrow God willing I am arranging
with the Vatican Bank for the trans-
fer of the money needed to pay for
Edenmore, They have already assured
me that there will be no difficulty
If in Ireland I need but send a tele-
gram in advance. So that is another item
for rejoicing. Magnificat.
For all God's works there is need of much
prayer, and here in the Eternal City, these months
I have tried to intensify mine I send my
Guardian Angel to you bearing my assurance
of prayers for you but also asking him to
remind you to pray for me I am such
a crude instrument and unless the prayers
of others keep me lovingly docile in the
Hands of the Divine Artisan I would
fear terribly
I hope your Grace, you are keeping well
I know how very busy you are In fact
I dislike very much intruding on what is
already such a full schedule However, I
can readily imagine your Fatherly gracious-
ness reassuring me
With kind wishes from Rev Mother General
as well as from myself I beg to remain
my dear Archbishop
Very respectfully
your grateful devoted child in M
Sister Mary de Pazzi
