      Note

      George Keegan was killed alongside three other IRA men when the landmine they were preparing in a farmhouse in Edentubber in County Louth exploded prematurely. The civilian owner of the house was also killed in the explosion. The incident occurred during the ‘Border Campaign’ conducted by the IRA in the late 1950s.
