The leaflet refers to hidden arms dumps, the possibility of a ceasefire, the Anglo-Irish Treaty and Mary MacSwiney’s speech. The text reads ‘According to her version of the Irregular position, the “Cease fire!” order means nothing permanent. It is a device merely to secure, if possible, a breathing space during which to prepare for the renewal of the attack upon the people’.
