Includes extracts from ‘The History of Ireland Ancient and Modern’ by Abbé James MacGeoghegan, and notes from various seventeenth century manuscript collections such as the Carte Papers. The subject headings include ‘The Green Flag’, ‘Patrick Sarsfield, 1st Earl of Lucan’, ‘Earl of Clanricarde’, ‘Lord Castlehaven’, ‘Owen Roe O’Neill’ and ‘Redmond O’Hanlon’.
