The Society again wish to put before the Archbishop the appalling housing conditions that still exist in Dublin and feel the Corporation and Government are making no real effort to improve the position. The Society now wishes to meet the Archbishop so as to ask him to use his influence with the authorities to bring such conditions to an end. At a General Meeting of this organisation many expressed their concern at the continued silence of the Church towards the vital problem of housing.
