Manuscript annotation on fly page: ‘A l’usage du pere Simon alias Edmond Eustace pretre indigne’. Annotation on end page reads: ‘A l’usage du Fr. Denis d’Irelande Capucin. A l’usage du pere Simon Edmond Eustace, Capucin, 1756’. Fr. Angelus Healy OFM Cap. in his memoranda on library books in Kilkenny Friary (CA KK/9/3) noted that ‘this [Fr. Simon] Eustace is buried in Myshall, County Carlow. Reference to be seen in Dr Comerford’s "History of Leighlin" and in the "Father Mathew Record"’.
