• Letters from Mabel M. Maguire to Fr. Angelus Healy OFM Cap. affirming that ‘the bust of Father Mathew is still here’. 13 Nov. 1929. With letters from O’Keeffe and Lynch, solicitors, stating that the Maguire family would like to gift the bust to the Capuchin friars of Church Street. 21 Oct. 1943-22 Oct. 1943. • Letters from Charles Murphy, 3 Prospect Row, Limerick, regarding a temperance certificate and medal belonging to his deceased father dated 4 Nov. 1839. He writes ‘My poor father walked from Limerick to Cork to take the pledge. It was considered a pilgrimage and the proper thing to do …’.
