Scope and content

Register of brothers of the Third Order of St. Francis confraternity attached to the Capuchin Friary at Rochestown, County Cork. The information is listed under name, address, religious name in the fraternity, dates of reception and profession, name of spiritual director at profession and remarks. The remarks column primarily refers to dates of death or whether the individual has moved away from the area. An insert has been added in the form of a survey of membership in 1960. In many instances, it is noted that the individual is deceased. The final pages of the volume consist of yearly returns of Third Order brothers and sisters at Rochestown from 1952 to 1961.
