The prospectus reads ‘The Munster College, which was founded two years ago at Ring, Co. Waterford, in order to afford University facilities to those who desire to study the Irish language and Irish literature …’. A manuscript annotation reads ‘Kindly keep securely for Rev. John Tierney, Curragh Camp, Co. Kildare’.
