              Typed minutes of ‘V’ Committee meeting. The following items are mentioned in the report: Murphy, T.D., was supported in his campaign by the Connolly Clubs in Britain. A meeting of the unemployed had an attendance of 5,000 – 10,000. One of the speakers was Councillor Fitzgerald, “a decent man”. Anti-Nuclear Test meeting is scheduled for Friday, 24 May, under the auspices of the Communists, to discuss theoretical issues. Invitations were received by Rev. Dr. O’Doherty (UCD), Rev. Dr. O’Rahilly and Dr. McLaughlin (Protestant Rector of Swords). Dr. O’Doherty to warn Dr. McLaughlin of the tendentious character of the meeting. MacCriostail (IRA) has been arrested.
