Letter from Fr. Thomas Dowling OFM Cap., St. Mary’s Church, Oakland, California, to Fr. Peter Bowe OFM Cap. enclosing a cheque and outlining his and Fr. Berchman Cantillon’s travel plans. He writes ‘I arrived here from Rio Vista last evening and as we have a full fortnight free now. We intend leaving this morning for Hermiston + Bend, and shall take in Yellow Stone National Park on our journey’.
