Typed letter to + McQuaid from Sean Dowling, President, Old Fourth Battalion, Association of Old I.R.A. A procession to commemorate 1798 is being organised and people have been asked to decorate their houses. There is reluctance on the part of the clergy in High Street, Meath Street, Francis Street and James’ Street to encourage their people to participate. Asks the Archbishop for his assistance in the matter.
