Griffin was refused permission to print Pope Benedict X1V’s Encyclical Letter, A Quo Primum, “Concerning what is forbidden to Jews dwelling in the same towns and districts as Christians,” in his monthly paper, Panapa. Asks if the Press Censor has the right to forbid the publication of Papal Letters in this country? Includes cover note from the Office of the Controller of Censorship. 3/ 24/3 January, 1941 Copy of Penapa, Vol.1.
