He wrote to the Chief Rabbi saying he was worried by the attitude of the Israeli Government regarding Holy Places and Catholics – a statement says that the Israeli Government was not giving freedom to all religions, particularly to Catholics. Mr. Eban made a clear statement regarding the freedom of Holy Places.
