Handwritten letter to +McQuaid from J.P. Walshe, Ambasciata D’Irlanda, Presso La Santa Sede. Horrified to learn that the Geneva Red Cross had not yet sent in the consignment of 4th January. He understands that the Archbishop’s next consignment is due to arrive in Naples on 10th April. With the general shortages in Ireland Montini understands the difficulties of Sending help abroad.
