Copy of a typed letter to An Taoiseach from +McQuaid regarding certain provisions of the proposed Public Health Bill, 1945. It is feared that the medical inspection of children and adults by compulsory regulation is so intimately concerned with the rights of the parents that only clear-cut guarantees and safeguards, on the part of the Government, can be regarded as adequate protection for those rights.
