Agreement to open a secondary school at Roebuck; project later encounters difficulties. A project for Kilbarrack. Provincialate transfers to Kilmacud from Castletown, county Laois. A Brother’s hostel is envisaged for Maynooth. A centre for young adolescents in difficulty gets under way at Finglas. The first Sisters of Christian Schools arrive in the diocese to help.
