Correspondence routine to details of community life, a report to Archbishop by Sister Heelan CSSP suggests unsatisfactory situation of community-subsequent letters of corroboration from members. Bishop Whelan CSSP wishes to send a Nigerian girl to be trained as a Carmelitems in view of a foundation.

Conway, Marion, Eaglehill Ho., Suncroft, Curragh, Co. Kildare. She is complaining that Fr. Whelan interfered with her recently deceased brother, who did not want to make a will. She accused the priest, a solicitor and doctor of fraudulently writing a will which defrauded herself, her nieces and nephew of their rights. She asks the Archbishop to have this will undone immediately.

Nunciature in relation to an anonymous letter about the goodness of a Mr. Whelan who assists both the nuns and the men who get the St. Vincent’s dinners in Henrietta Street. He feels this man deserves some earthly reward and hopes the Holy Father can do this.
