Archbishop approves foundations for schools at Walkinstown and Cabra West on explicit condition that ‘…the Brothers must observe honorably the provisions of their own Constitution’ for he is opposed to ‘enrolling only intelligent boys of a certain middle class.’ St. John of God Brothers interested in the Christian Brother property at Celbridge, ‘Artane is the most trying post in your Congregation; about 10 times too large.’ 87 items
