An administrative record book documenting the student enrolment and academic performance at Rochestown College in County Cork. From 1917 to 1923, the entries systematically record each student’s name, attendance record, examination number, and date of birth. Reflecting the post-independence modernization of the state’s school system, the 1924-1925 academic roll explicitly notes the introduction of the new national scheme of secondary education. From this point forward, the ledger tracks advanced student outcomes, including Intermediate Certificate and Leaving Certificate examination results. The volume features regular counts of aggregate junior and senior student totals, and later entries expand to document the primary school previously attended by each pupil. It also contains various loose inserts and marginal annotations identifying specific students who subsequently entered the Capuchin novitiate and became professed friars.

The volume is in poor condition. The spine covering is fragmented and is torn at the ends. Several of the pages are loose and detached from the volume. Careful handling is required.
