St. Joseph's Retreat, Cloonamahon: Collooney: copy MS letter to the Bishop of Achonry, James Fergus, by the Rector or St. Joseph's Retreat, Fr. Salvian. Such a collection referred to by the bishop is certainly not with the rector's approval or of any memebr of thge community (see item under serial number 8720). Should he discover who is organising this collction, he will put a stop to it at once.

Archival documents are catalogued in the following way : Shelf number, box number, file number and item number. Thus, 45/1/1/4 means shelf forty-five, box one, file one and item four. In addition to this each item has an individual serial number. This is attached to the catalogue as an alternative identifier.
