The article reports on the formal dedication of a new, two-story Capuchin friary located at 1541 Golden Gate Avenue. Bishop John J. Cantwell presided over the solemn ceremonies, which featured an ecclesiastical procession and a blessing of the building and its monastery garden. Following the dedication, Bishop Cantwell delivered a sermon during a solemn high mass held at the Church of St. Francis of Assisi.
