              Letter from Mgr. F.X. Fenech, O.F.M. Cap., Prefect Apostolic to +McQuaid regarding Sr. Georgina Martin. She is a member of the Daughters of the Sacred Heart of Jesus, from Malta and is currently staying with the Dominican Sisters. She is to take the exams at the Surgeons’ College. He knows he should have informed the Archbishop sooner but the decision was taken quite late. Kottayam

              Letter from +McQuaid to +O’Hara stating that Ireland was solemnly consecrated to the Sacred Heart of Jesus on Passion Sunday, 13 March 1873, a fact which is commemorated by exposition in all churches in Dublin each Passion Sunday, with a renewal of the consecration. On 15 March 1943, a resolution was passed by the Irish Bishops that every parish and diocese in Ireland was consecrated to the Immaculate Heart of Mary.
