Letter from Mgr. Augusto Fidecicchi, Prelato Uditore de Rota, Rome, to Mgr. Richard Glennon, The Chancellery, enclosing two rescripts from the Sacred Congregation of Sacraments granting dispensation upon matrimonial impediments. The tax of 10 shillings has been paid on each one. The Bulls will be forwarded in due course.

Notice read in Churches of the Constituency of Dublin South West on Sunday 16 May 1954 stating that the Irish Workers’ League is Communist in its associations so Parishioners are warned that it is gravely wrong and strictly forbidden to vote for the candidate of the Irish Workers’ League. 825 and 826 are missing. Typed report on John Huston, film Director. Quotes Myron C. Fagan saying that he is “one of the most effective leaders and planners for the Communist cause in Hollywood….. one of their best ‘money getters’.” (Documentation of The Red Stars in Hollywood (p.69), by Myron C. The Fourth Report of the Senate Fact-Finding Committee on Un- American Activities 1948 deals with the Communist Front Organizations: Committee for the first Amendment [sic] and Freedom from Fear Committee. The purpose of the Committee for the first Amendment is a Communist front is to create favourable public opinion for Communists who refuse to testify before the House Committee on Un-American Activities in Washington. Regarding the Freedom from Fear Committee, a testimonial dinner was held on the 5 March 1948 in Beverly Hills for the Hollywood Ten.
