Richard Glennon, The Chancellery, enclosing two rescripts from the Sacred Congregation of Sacraments granting dispensation upon matrimonial impediments. The tax of 10 shillings has been paid on each one. The Bulls will be forwarded in due course.

Copy of a handwritten letter to Mr. Walshe, Secretary, Ministry of External Affairs, from +McQuaid assuring him that an unceasing crusade of masses has been in progress. The day of special atonement was comparable with the Eucharist Congress for reception of the Sacraments.

Letter from +McQuaid to Mgr. Felici enclosing a copy of the correspondence sent to each church concerning 1st November. The day was celebrated with great devotion, and ‘not since the Eucharistic Congress of 1932 has any similar reception of the Sacraments been experience by the Diocese’. The forthcoming celebrations will again meet a vast and silent exhibition of devotion.
