He expresses his hope that the Holy Ghost Fathers will establish a foundation in Alaska and he is indebted to them for all the priests they have supplied to date. He hopes to meet with the Archbishop during his visit.

He is trying to organise a new Archdiocese in the aftermath of the 1964 Good Friday earthquake and he is very short of priests. He hopes to call on the Archbishop when he is in Dublin.
