Handwritten letter to Chris from Tom Harty. He is anxious about the figures for Communists being reported in the papers as coming from him at the Rosary Rally in Portlaw, Co. Waterford. He wants it recorded that he does not stand over it and the Independent and Standard do not represent what he said. He gave the reporter present a written statement but he paid no attention to it.

Typed letter to Liam from Tom. Is working on the Memorandum. Feels ‘Formation’ is important. That is why he makes the suggestion that the Lenten Pastoral of His Grace be brought to the minds of Dubliners. This Pastoral is among the treasures of the Rosary.
