As an addition to Benediction on the Novena evenings in the Chapel of the Most Holy Trinity they would like to have a five-minute talk on aspects of the Rosary and the Industrial Rosary Crusade. He would like to alternate the talks between the Carmelite Fathers and himself. Needs advice on the permission needed.

He wants it recorded that he does not stand over it and the Independent and Standard do not represent what he said. He gave the reporter present a written statement but he paid no attention to it.

However, many young Irishmen only came near a priest for the purpose of getting married. Hopes to set up a Praesidium for conversion through the Rosary. The Archbishop of Glasgow is pleased by the work being done by both + McQuaid and yourself for the Irish in Britain.

Centenary of John’s Lane church is celebrated.

Typed note to + McQuaid saying Fr. T. Harty, O.P., wrote seeking permission to run a pilgrimage to Clonmacnoise. People from the different shops and factories where the Rosary is said would travel. The idea of the pilgrimage would be to bring these people together and to develop the spirit, which has already been aroused in them.
