Scope and content

Appendix 2: leaflet addressed to the Citizens of Dublin. It stated that Christ suffered but can do so no more. But in the “person of his brethren He is in agony until the end of the world. Every day …men crucify Christ afresh….in Dublin men, women and children are carrying His cross ….by the sins of an unjust society. The poor of Dublin, the unemployed, the old age pensioners, the disabled, willingly accept that cross.” He quotes Matthew Talbot, “Nobody has the right to starve the poor.”
