              Letter from Fr. Matt Farrell, Congregation du Saint Esprit, Paris, regarding the correspondence from +de la Bruneliere which he states is very out of character. He believes the writer may be the Officialis of the Diocese, Fr. Verhoeven as he has had similar begging letters in the past. He then remarks on the situation on the island and an earlier appeal to the French bishops which was so poor it was described as the ‘silent church’.
