Typed note regarding Mr. Walshe’s telephone call. A Protestant Organization had been trying to attract all visiting Americans to a club in 17 Upper Pembroke Street. Their motives were religious and political. To counteract this Mr. Walshe asked the Red Cross for the use of a room to which post for such people could be directed and where they could meet. Being under Red Cross direction he was sure it would be run well as to morals.
