Parish statistics and financial status of St. Anthony’s Church in Willits, California. The parish serves approximately 50 families, including Italian families, with a catechism class averaging 25 to 35 students, and Sunday mass attendance ranging between 60 and 75 people. Attendance fluctuates seasonally, requiring two Sunday masses (at 8:00 and 10:00) from May to October, dropping to one well-attended mass in winter, and including a San Francisco Boys’ Camp in June and July that adds 80 Catholic attendees. Financially, the office allows a $25 monthly stipend, and household expenses remain low because a Mr. and Mrs. Van Cleemput donate meals. Additionally, over $3,000 has been expended on the parochial house and church, leaving a remaining principal and interest debt of $1,900 financed via a loan from the Bank of Italy.
