Overseas Missions: Vicariate: Bechuanaland (Botswana): Paraguay: "The Second in a series of News Bulletins of the foreign missions compiled by the Students of Mount Argus". Paraguay: Parish officially handed over and Fr. Salvian appointed Parish Priest on 26-07-1964. Copy of the official document of the transfer appended with the written testimony of the Chancellor of the Prefecture. Salvian wrote home for a "Parish Seal" and proper Passionist notepaper. In comparison with Bechuanaland, they are well suplied with rain..The danger from spiders and snakes is mentioned. Medical facilities are poor. A description of local weddings is given and the Legion of Mary has been estanblished. The poverty of the people is also covered. BECHUANALAND ( BOTSWANA ) : Details of Personnell are given. Two new churches opened' at Tomotsa and Serowe.. A brief account of the country and political situation is given
