Overseas Missions; Foundation at Carletonville: copy letter from Valentine McMurray, C.P., Provincial to Caspar Caulfield, C.P., the Missions Secretary General, seeking advice on enclosed correspondence (copy of which is not extant). It evidently contains Valentne's observations on a draft copy contract submitted by Bishop Boyle re a Carletonville foundation. The only feasible place, apart from Johannesburg to which we have ben denied access, is Carletonville. Valentine gives his reasons for this. NB' THIS DOCUMENT IS INCLUDED AT A14 IN THE DOCUMENT "OFFICIAL CORRESPONDENCE RE SETTING UP OF HOUSE IN TRANSVAAL" located at 8-1-4-1 serial no 6821.
