Photograph showing the moving of the original Church of Our Lady of Angels building in Hermiston, Oregon. The caption reads ‘Coming to new site’. In July 1921, using horses, heavy logs, and local volunteer parish labour, the local community rolled the entire structure to its permanent location closer to the town centre.

Immediately following this move, the parish broke ground on a brand new, formal stone church right next to where this building landed.
