Berchmans Byrne, Vice Rector, St. Paul's Retreat, Mount Argus, Dublin Acknowleges letter of 4th inst. Refers to company's representative's visit in Sept. Old lanterns at Kimmage Road gate removed. No hope of repair. New ones ordered. May have to re-lay pipe; it'll be done free; as also is loan of lamp-post and lantern. Gas will have to be paid for.

Archival documents are catalogued in the following way : Shelf number, box number, file number and item number. Thus, 45/1/1/4 means shelf forty-five, box one, file one and item four. In addition to this each item has an individual serial number. This is attached to the catalogue as an alternative identifier.
