VMount Argus: Finances: Letter from Mother Whittaker, St. Mary's Convent, York, to the Rector. Asks very nicely for the repayment of £4.000 loaned 10 years ago.They need the cash to procure a neighbouring factory for £3,500 in order to save their own property. Payment of the purchase price is expeted from them on 2 September, so when can CPs pay up? (see item serial no 437 of 27.07.1872)
