Scope and content
A postcard print of the exterior of Mission Santa Inés in Santa Barbara County, California. The photograph shows the mission’s front facade, including the campanario (bell tower) with its three bells, the main church building, and the long-arched colonnade (convento wing) to the left. A manuscript note on the image reads ‘This portion is demolished. Fr. A’. This is most likely Fr. Albert Bibby OFM Cap. the first Capuchin pastor at the mission. The image is credited to the Mission Art Company, Los Angeles.
