Typed note to +McQuaid from James Ardle MacMahon. Fr. D. O’Sullivan C.S.Sp., and Fr. Thomas Lucey, St. Patrick’s, Kiltegan, advise that to refuse permission could lead to serious consequences for Missioners in Lagos, while to grant it would secure more advantages than disadvantages. Fr. Lucey was of the opinion that permission would best be given without comment.
