Letter from Fr. Stephen Murtagh OFM Cap. to Fr. James O’Mahony OFM Cap., Provincial Minister, referring to the early challenges and successes of establishing the Seraphic School at Flintridge. Father Stephen notes that school successfully opened on schedule. Registration took place on September 9th, and classes commenced on September 16th. At the time of writing, the school had 24 boys (day boys) enrolled. He describes the local community as ‘all enthusiastic’ and expects a very large enrolment in the future.
