Letter from Fr. Luke Sheehan OFM Cap. to Fr. Edwin Fitzgibbon OFM Cap., Provincial Minister, enclosing a typescript extract of letter relating to a life insurance policy taken out by two English Capuchin friars while they were working as missionaries in Mendocino County in California. Fr. Luke claims that the Irish friars should be ‘entitled to some consideration for taking over missions in such a dilapidated condition’.
